Companies who provide families with relocation assistance, not only increase the chances that a relocation offer will be accepted, they also achieve a more positive corporate image, both internally and in the business community.
And, needless to say, employee productivity is increased when an individual is confident that his/her family is receiving professional attention to aid the transition.
The Career Development Center offers comprehensive Relocation Assistance Services to ease the burdens experienced by all family members. From connecting families to reseources to help them choose a neighborhood or school to guiding "trailing" spouses/partners in their job search. The CDC provides specialized programs tailored to the needs of each family. The CDC also has immigrant employment specialists on staff to assist immigrants with a relocation.
