Resumes & More
In today's competitive job market, you need to do everything you can to ensure that you can effectively articulate your competitive advantages relative to others seeking the same position. First to get you noticed, then to get you hired.
At the Career Development Center, it's our goal to help you achieve your career goals and to ensure that your resume, cover letter, interviewing and networking skills are at their best to support a successful outcome.

ADDITIONAL, TARGETED PROGRAMS AUGMENT "MAINSTREAM" CAREER SERVICES WITH SPECIALIZED ATTENTION TO THE UNIQUE NEEDS OF:
- Mature Workers
- Job seekers aged 45+ face particular challenges in a search for a new position. But you also have significant advantages. Regardless of age, hiring managers seek candidates that offer the best skills, attitude and fit for the position and their company. It's up to you to convince them that the best candidate is you, and we can help.
- Legal Immigrants
- If you are foreign-born, in the U.S. legally and not 100% acclimated to the American job market, we can help. CDC career counselors with expertise working with immigrants will work with you to determine how your skills and interests fit into the U.S. job market and provide the help you need to get a job.
- At-Risk Youth
- CDC's seasoned career counselors work with area schools and other organizations to provide school-to-work programming targeted toward enhancing the potential of young people to be successful in the workplace.
- Programs range from mentoring and internships to labor market orientation and employability skills.
